Ansley-6months

I can’t believe we have a 6month old! Happy half birthday little girl!

 

This month she was a little too worried about her tutu…

and 6month sticker to get any really good shots.

I would try again another day for that perfect toothless grin but she managed to completely ruin the sticker.

• Weighs: 11 lbs and 8 oz.  < 3% (still on the same growth curve which is a good thing!) Just our little skinny Minnie
• Height:  24.25 inches. 8%
• Head circumference: 15.75inches. 3%
• Wears size 1 diapers(this we are really thankful for, because they are the cheapest, so she is saving us money!)
• Clothes size: 3months and 3-6month (FINALLY outgrew those 0-3!)
• Eats about every 3-4 hours during the day of 3-4 ounces and usually a “jar” of babyfood. Getting up once at night to eat.
• Has tried: sweet potato, peas, pears, banana, squash, prunes, green beans and avocado(a no go!)
• We weaned her out of the nap nanny but when she got sick, she convinced her Daddy to start using it again.
• Trying to sit up. When she is wedged into a corner(like the couch) she will actively try to sit up and forward, but if we have he sitting with just us holding her hips, she actively pushes back against us. Eventually.
• Really reaching out and trying to grab things now. We put a little monkey doll toy in her carseat in her lap and she grabs and chews on it. I think that’s her favorite toy right now, with her doll in second place.
• Still rolling over (occasionally when she wants to) from front to back and finally has started to twist a little when on her back(which will eventually turn into her rolling over to her belly)
• Still Miss Content girl, serious and observing everything!
• Drooly, drooly, drooly. I never thought I would be a “bib mom”, but I’m thinking about it!
• Sucks on her thumb or fingers. Doesn’t have a preference to either hand yet.

 

Just woke up. Stretching and getting bombarded by Caleb!

Naps are still in the pack-n-play. One time she took a longer nap when we used both of Caleb’s blankets to cover her, so now she gets them everytime! haha.

She might be described as a little girl or even a Little Sister but she sure does have a BIG HEART! She is such a sweet girl!

At her 6month check-up. All the ladies in the office were going crazy over her and how cute she was(and of course they couldn’t believe that she was 6months old)!
