Catch up Pics

Here are the pictures from my cell phone. I am usually better at uploading more regularly, but oh well. Better late than never.

Fun with the hose.

So handsome.

Kim, Caleb’s therapist, let us borrow this tunnel. I had it packed up and ready to give back because he couldn’t crawl and never used it. So glad we have it now. We actually have it right against the bottom of the stairs(tied to the banister) as our baby gate. He hasn’t figured out how to get past it yet, so until then the tunnel gate it is!

My little helper. He helps me do dishes. Ok, well it’s more of keeping him occupied with the water while I do dishes/clean up the kitchen. But regardless we are both happy!

Naples: Mommy’s tradition of walking to 7-11 and getting a slurpee and a candy.

Caleb got the candy(starburst popsickle) and Mommy got the coke slurpee. Yummy!

Muah!

Allie and Nana joined Caleb and I for our first 7-11 trip.

Letting him have one sip turned out to be pretty funny. He was hooked!

Do they make CLEAR popsickes? He was a MESS! But I really didn’t care, because he was so happy with his popsickle and slurpee. I am willing to bring on the mess for a little splurge of fun! Although he did go right into the bath where he got SCRUBBED down! (oh, and he was GIDDY on the way to dinner. I think all the sugar and a little caffeine(which he never has!) hit him and he was just giggling for no reason. Silly boy!

First Steps!

This is Caleb at therapy today! He is really mad but was doing a great job.

Yay Caleb!

We are so proud of you for taking your first steps!

Baby GIRL!

We are having a girl! We are so excited! We are still working on her name, her room and pretty much anything else that has to do with her! But now that we know what she really is a girl, we have some direction. We actually found out she was a girl while we were in Naples,FL thanks to my Aunt Patti and her connections. Our first ultrasound she was moving all over the place and very cooperative. Our official ultrasound Dr. R’s office, she was facing my back and her legs were closed. I was glad to have the extra assurance from our sneak peak ultrasound! The pictures we got from the ultrasound weren’t the greatest, maybe next time.

A quick look at us, left arm waving!

This is what I was talking about. She spent most of her time like this…facing my back(to the right) and that’s her right arm blocking her face.

Looking up. Cute profile pic.

They did tell us that she is breech. She needs to flip on over (as soon as possible but) before 36weeks. Also they found out that some of my placenta is covering my cervix. The official term is complete placenta previa. If both of this “finds” don’t resolve themselves then we would have to have a scheduled C-section. Please pray that they resolve and that there wouldn’t be any complications from the placenta previa. They think that that should resolve by 24-26weeks, so they are doing a repeat ultrasound at 28weeks. So far I haven’t had any complications from the placenta previa, but its always a possibility and of course, always on my mind.

Happy Easter!

He truly is from his Momma’s family, crying at pictures. He actually started with the white shirt, he was holding out his arm and just whinning about the shirt choice(the first white shirt I put on him was a bit small and had buttons on the wrist, this is shirt #2 option). Then came the tie, it’s pretty humorous that it’s in his boy DNA to hate it! Oh and I got a “what, he gets to wear cargo pants” comment from Josh. Oh boys, just be cute and love it!

After lunch we came home and he was able to dig into his basket. His favorite was the books(of course)! Oh and look the Easter Bunny brought him some special candy just for Mommy and Daddy!

Happy Easter everyone!

Walks on the pier

Daddy and Caleb took walks to the pier every morning. One of the days Mommy didn’t sleep in and joined in on the fun. The day that I went it was WINDY! Caleb loves his Daddy. This week he was all in to “B” words: beach, bush, birds. All of which he could find on his walk! He loved his walks.
