Praise the Lord

We are pregnant again! The Lord is faithful! We found out we were pregnant on February 21st-so that makes us 12 weeks now. We have hit many milestones already with this pregnancy that give us much hope and encouragement. First LA had blood work drawn twice to monitor if the pregnancy levels and hormone levels were rising appropriately, which they were. We had a 7week ultrasound that showed a blob with a heartbeat, a cute blob but a blob!

Then we had a 9week ultrasound that showed a cute little baby with a heartbeat! Oh how fast our little one is growing! Here are two of our latest ultrasound pictures. The baby has its chin on its chest, looking down. This first one is LA's favorite. If you look closely you can see little fingers and toes. We were even able to see him dance a little!
This one is Josh's favorite! On this one you can see that the arms and legs have a lot of growing to do. The bump by the knee is the umbilical cord. If you look closely in either picture you can see the amniotic sac or bag of water that they baby is in.At 11weeks we were able to hear the baby's heartbeat twice by using a doppler (microphone like thing that lets you just hear the heartbeat, Josh was a little disappointed we didnt get another ultrasound). The reason we had it twice was because we had a regular appointment Monday and then Wednesday night/Thursday morning we made a trip to the hospital because LA couldnt stop puking. Puking- another "good" sign that things are going well! She has been sick since 4 weeks! Hopefully since we are close to getting into the secound trimester, the "morning sickness" will end! The due date is November 1st! Our next ultrasound, the big one that we can find out if its a girl or a boy is June 8th! They really spoiled us having those ultrasounds 2 weeks apart-hurry up June! Thank you to everyone for your prayers and support. They have been invaluable.

Good Friday

Hey folks,

It's been a while. Leigh Anne and I have been extremely busy doing the usual: working, researching to buy a car, etc. So, we haven't really had the time to blog (still, I am amazed that anyone cares what we do...).

But, today I had a day off and happened to come across this video and immediately it brought me to my knees in prayer, thanking God that he sent his son for me on this Good Friday. Hopefully, you'll take a few minutes to watch the video and come to the same conclusion.
