We had a fun filled weekend, just the 3 of us! We had great weather and a great time! Caleb wins the Happy Camper award, no really he was a very happy camper!
Friday Night: Getting everything set up.
Josh’s Birthday present last year was Caleb’s camping chair. And it worked out perfectly. He was able to join us in our chairs and sit by the fire!
Caleb loved the fire. He was talking, giggling and reaching for it the whole time. It was a special treat for Caleb to stay up that late to be able to see it. He was a trooper-not one complaint!
Saturday Morning: Burr! It was quite the chilly weekend! (Thanks Aunt Nicole for the sweatshirt!)

After morning naps we went for a very long hike(from the camp site, down to the lake, to the Nature Center, waterfalls and then back to our campsite)

Weekend of treats! We usually eat a lot of treats and do things we wouldn’t normally do when we go camping. So we thought that Caleb should get to experience that too!
Glow stick. Oreo. S’mores (graham cracker and marshmallow).Hotdog. Drinking from Mommy and Daddy’s water. and of course staying up late!

ReplyDeleteWe were so disappointed that we couldn't go this weekend! We really want to take Parker again! It was probably good that we didn't end up going since Parker ended up running a high fever Friday night into Saturday...that would have been interesting. Didn't Caleb get sick that last time you were going to go camping??
