It's all about perspective

Me: "That was the worst night we have had with Caleb since we left the hospital"
Josh: "That means that we have had a lot of great nights!"

Thanks for the GREAT perspective this morning, Josh! You are one awesome Daddy!

The story: Caleb fell asleep in the car last night, so when we got home he had a rough time-screamed through his entire bedtime routine. Then woke several times(screaming hysterically) for big burps. Then kept crying out but going back to sleep. Finally got up at 12:30 and fed him, cleaned out his nose and gave him some Tylenol. He was really snotty, sneezy and kept coughing all night. He usually sleeps all night but last night was a doozy! He cried out in his sleep ALL night. I thought since he ate in the middle of the night, he wouldn't get up so early (usually around 6am) but nope today it was 5:30!

  1. blah! We still have those nights with Isaac sometimes. It's like, as soon as we feel like we've got a great routine going I'll say something to Ryan: "Wow, it's been at least a month since Isaac has woken up in the middle of the night!" Without fail he will wake up that night! You'd think I'd learn to quit expecting anything! haha.
