Just when…

…I start to get discouraged about your progress, skill level, and peer interaction: “you go and do something like this- and totally redeem yourself!”

Caleb playing for a good 20minutes with beans. He would put them in his bucket or bottle, pour them out and scoop them up. Usually he would grab one bean and try to eat it or throw it and crawl away. See the little bean in his cute little hand.

Putting in one bean at a time. Great fine motor skill C with a little Uncle John mouth action going on!

Playing with chalk. His favorite thing to draw are dots.

Total concentration watching Barney. We make him stand while watching TV to work on his balance. Josh thinks it’s pretty funny to keep handing him random things. He can stand for about 20 minutes or so with just a couple of balance checks.

Although this isn’t the greatest picture it shows Brynn and Caleb interacting(they were giving hugs). They played on the playground for a little bit together but then they played with a rock(taking turns throwing it back and forth) and in the dirt for a very long time. I was very impressed with his interaction and cooperative play. Usually his is Mr. observant and just watches the other kids. But this time it was just Brynn and Caleb and he showed me that he has it in him and it’s probably more due to his personality(shy and observant) than development level that he hangs back.
