Happy New Years!

So we thought that we would be able to find out if we were pregnant on Christmas Day, so Christmas morning we took a test....BFN(big fat negative!). So when we got home from Raleigh on Sunday we took another test...again a BFN! Finally third times a charm...we took one on New Years Eve and it was POSITIVE!!!!!! Happy New Year to us! After having so many negatives we were becoming pros at reading the test. When we first took it, of course the stupid negative line popped right up, dark as could be! "Dang you negative line!" Then slowly but surely the second line started showing up! All we could say was "its there, its there, its totally there"!!! We were able to have dinner together but then I(LA) had to go to work! That was the longest night ever! I couldn't wait to be able to share our great news! We were going to try to not tell for a little bit but I couldn't stand it any longer. After convincing Josh and coming up with a fun way to share with our immediate families, we started the calls! After we said "Happy New Years", we asked them if they had any new years resolutions. Everyone said no and then we said "we have one for you, how about being a ___________(ex.grandma, aunt, uncle etc!)!!!! We got some great responses from everyone! We decided we needed to stop telling till we went to the doctors appt on Friday. So everyone was told to hold on to the secret! Well, Friday came and my doctor wasn't in the office so I have to go on Monday for my first appt! But we(ok-ME!) of course couldn't wait till monday to tell aunts/uncles and grandparents! So to the phone we went! Seriously No more telling people until we go the doctor on Monday, then Monday night we will tell our small group!
