I got this toy at a consignment sale a while ago. It is a soft cube that has a mirror and then 5 spots for pictures. Caleb loves to play with it even though it didn't have any pictures. I have been meaning to go get some pictures printed so we could fill in the spots. But last night I had had enough. I went to the fridge and pulled pictures that would fit! Congratulations Alison, Nana, Zach&Ashley, and Morgan&Cate you won!

Daylight Savings time

The last time the time changed it was right after Caleb was born. We were still having to set our alarms to wake up to feed him. You should have heard us sleep deprived trying to decide what time we needed to wake up. Is it the old 2 or the new 2? It probably took us close to a 1/2 hour to figure it out. And of course as new parents we didn't want him to wait an extra hour!

The other issue we had with the time change was this clock. It's not the easiest to hang, so we put off taking it down to change the time on it. And if you have been to our house lately you know that we never actually got around to changing it! Well guess what...the clock is right AGAIN! haha!

We are hoping this time change will help us with Caleb's bedtime. We usually can barely get him to stay up to 6:30 or 7. Maybe now we will have a normal bedtime of 7:30 or 8!?!? We are keeping our fingers crossed for tonight!!!!

2 "Thumbs" Up!

Caleb is now a thumb sucker! This has just started over the past week. He used to interlock his fingers and suck on both fists. Now he manages to get just the thumb in! He still takes the paci when we give it to him but he seems to prefer the thumb now. We were planning on taking away the paci at 6mo (recommended age because sucking is no longer their only coping mechanism) but it looks like we will have a bigger battle in a few years. For now we will just watch him being the cute little baby he is! Something is just so sweet about that cute little fist with his finger on his nose!

I have had my cell phone for 1.5 years, and today I figured out how to get the pictures off of my phone and on to the computer using my microcard. I have done the occassional email to myself a text(not really sure how that even works) of supercute pics, but now I have all of them! These pics are random and are in no order!

Visit with Papa and Grandma

We went to Raleigh to visit Papa and Grandma again. It is so nice to get away for a weekend and let Caleb get some more family time. They even babysat(spoiled Caleb) for us so we could have a date night/celebrate my bday at the Melting Pot. It was actually Morgan's 7th birthday weekend, so Caleb got to attend his first bday party. We are up to our old tricks again and didn't take a single picture at the birthday party, maybe we can blame it on all the kid chaos in the woods! Morgan's party was a camp-out theme. We plan on going back every couple of months... so see you in May!
