The Window

I love to look out of our front living room window. For the most part you can look out and just see green! It makes me feel like we live on some land and not so close to our neighbors. However, weekly, our neighbor's friend likes to remind me that nope indeed we have close neighbors. This "friend" thinks I like to look at her car instead of God's Creation! It really is becoming a pet peeve of mine. I am in the process of planning something to stop it...yellow paint on the curb, a boot, fake police tickets...something....MOVE YOUR CAR! Why she finds in necessary to park in front of our house, walk across our lawn to get to our neighbors house, I will never know!

2nd Trimester Update

Today we had a 15 week doctors appointment. Everything went great! They weighed me- and I have finally made it back up to pre-pregnancy weight. I had lost a total of 7 lbs between just the normal first trimester and then the stomach-bug-puking-marathon. We heard a good strong heart beat again and she measured me, which was right on target. I am showing a little bit now, unable to fit in my regular pants. So shopping spree here I come. The nausea has finally gone away, now just to get the puking to stop. You ask-if your not nauseated how are you still puking? Well there is a good explanation. You feel fine one second and the next you are running to the toilet. I have no idea. They usually say that the getting sick part goes away by the second trimester, but today the doctor said hopefully by 20 weeks! It was really nice to be able to get confirmation that our baby was doing well.


On another note, Josh was the first one to break down and buy a item for our growing family. I thought it was going to be me because I love this one pack-n-play and I just cant wait to have it. It's so cute. But nope, it was Josh. He bought a 4 person, family tent! We have a 2 person tent that just wouldn't fit one more. He did buy it on Craigslist, so it was a now or never kind of purchase. But I still think its kind of funny that he was the first! Does that mean I can go ahead and get the pack-n-play??!??!?!!?


Oh and one more month and we get to find out if this baby is a girl or a boy! Come on June 8th!
