We spent the morning at a parade. It was early so it wasn’t too hot.
Caleb enjoyed the parade.
It was during AE’s nap time so she wasn’t too impressed! But she looked cute!
Hi dogs!
Figured out that they were throwing candy! WOW!
Just watching the parade. Just noticed they were holding hands! love them!
I laid her down to change her diaper and she fell asleep.
Lollipop. yummy. The very hungry caterpillar eats one lollipop, that’s why they are not called suckers! Caleb says “can-e” or “pop”.
After afternoon naps we headed to a local park for a Uncle Sam Jam. It was very hot, but we got there early and got a good spot under the trees, in the shade.
We also brought a fan for AE, swimsuits, a cooler full of ice for the kids to play with and a “pool”,
It was a big hit for all the kids.(we met another family there too!)
We tried to play at the lake’s edge but we got told we couldn’t play in the water.

Daddy and Caleb sharing a snow cone.
The theme for the day was red, white and BLUE!
Beautiful.
There was a band down by the water, so we enjoyed a great view and some good music. Caleb really enjoyed the music.
God bless America. And our family too!
