We spent about a week in Naples, Florida. We had a blast! It’s a little hard to return home after such a great time. Caleb is definitely a beach bum, Ansley on the other hand isn’t much of a fan(doesn’t upset her,she just cant keep her eyes open and just decides to go to sleep,oh and she hates her sunglasses). Fortunately, Meme was happy to stay home with our girl.
Girls getting our toes done to get ready for the beach. First polish for little Ans.
Caleb’s new work is “pack”. He loved packing the sand.
Ansley getting fist fulls of sand. This was after dinner, so the sun wasn’t so bright or hot.
Nana came down to visit and to babysit
Caleb and Daddy have special morning walks to the pier. Its kind of a tradition now.
Yep, its 80degrees in Florida. But that’s our Meme and Ansley in longsleeves!
We he couldn’t get ahold of some sand, he settled for mulch.
Mommy and her cool dude.
He fell asleep sitting up at the beach at 10am. You could say we were wearing him out!
I don’t know if they just happened to catch a growth spurt of what, but her grandmas sure did fatten her up!
Meme love
First time feeling the water.
The rare occasion that all 4 of us were out. We had to steal Ansley from Meme!
There were lots of beach naps!
The hose rinse off. I kinda felt bad, because I wouldn’t rinse myself off it was too cold. I think that’s getting back for all those times my parents made me do stuff they wouldn’t do!(plus he had fun!)
The “sunset” photoshoot. Although neither kid can stay up until the sunset. Meme was keeping Ansley warm, she was afraid she would get cold.
Family shot pre sunset. It was a little windy
with the Meemer!
Father/Son. I love them!
{playing with my camera settings, trying to pull out the inner photographer} I kinda like it!
Mother/Son.
Enjoying the porch
Caleb slept in a big boy bed for the first time. He did pretty well!
Walk/run to the beach.
We probably could have made it with out the double stroller during the trip. But we brought it mainly to use as our beach cart! Glad it fit in.
Enjoying some time at the “Club”, where there are drinks, umbrellas, chairs, towels and a pool!
Playtime in the shade.
Daddy/Daughter.
Nana found Caleb a puddle. He had a great time there.
Nana like it too!
Naptime again. Daddy picked out Ansley’s cover-up. Not only was it cute it was very functional in keeping out the breeze and sand from her face.
Pool time. I am pretty sure we are going to have some pool babies. They both loved it. (although you cant tell by their faces!)
Before I pulled out the camera, Ansley was wide eyed and smiley being in the water.
Throwing Caleb.
Love it!
Going under!
Once again, Meme keeping Ansley safe!
We had such a great time and cant wait to do it again!
