Anniversary Celebration

#1 Beach day and a Hotel night.

We were able to sneak away to the beach and just read and relax.

While Meme and Nana kept the kids for us.

We walked to THE Pub for lunch. And to 7-11 for a slurpee and a treat.

We went out to dinner at the Tavern. I was sad we forgot to get a picture of us, so we took this quick one.

Most people have wine chilling in their hotel rooms. Not us, we had milk for Ansley.

#2 Beach day and a hotel night

We enjoyed every moment that sun was up!

Reading, tanning and relaxing. LA read “The Hunger Games” and Josh read “Another Man’s War”. We both really enjoyed our books too. Nana brought Caleb down to the beach for a little bit(hence the stroller!)

This time we switched cars and we got Nana’s convertible!

We had such a fun time driving around in the nice weather!

We had a great idea to have a picnic on the beach and watch the sunset. We decided to do this a little last minute so it was a race to get dinner and make it back to the beach(we were running errands like getting our new iphones!) We parked back at Meme’s and ran to the beach, laughing so hard. We were about a block away and people were walking away from the beach saying “you missed it”. Yeah, thanks! It was more of a comedy/adventure date than a romantic one! But that’s ok because that’s more us anyway! We were so close!

By the way our hotel room was 421. Our anniversary date is 4/21! I think just about anything could have been wrong with that room and I wouldn’t have switched(which our bed was a queen instead of a king)! It was on accident too, we had nothing to do with the coincidence!

On the note of sunsets, the night we were back with the kids Nana suggested we go try to catch the sunset again. There was no sunset that night. haha!
