Lake Fun

We had so much fun at my Grandma’s lake house this past weekend. Too bad we are about 6 hours away or we would be there way more often!

Thanks to Big Mable, Caleb got to go tubing for the first time.

Not too sure about sitting with his lifejacket on. “Hope this is worth it!”

Ready, Set…

Go!

P1070935

This is as close as Mommy got to tubing!

Time on the boat!

John and Josh. John kept trying to splash Josh and get the tube to flip, but Big Mable is pretty stable!

Climbing up.

P1070961

John you crack me up, and so do the birds hovering to make sure you both make it!

P1070964

Walking over the railroad. (I love this picture)

1,2,3….GO ”I’m scared!”

I can not confirm or deny what happened between the last picture and this one.

Silly Daddy. A slow ride back to the dock.

Like I said, A slow ride!

Daddy having some fun.

P1070975

I think it might be time to head back for naps.

Uncle John and Caleb

P1070978

Caleb enjoyed driving or watching the Daddy tube more than tubing himself. He would laugh and wave at Josh.

First corn on the cob experience.

P1070980

I think it’s pretty safe to say that it was a hit!

See what I mean!

Even when you are not doing anything, it’s fun just to be!

“The Beach”. Really just a sandy area on the edge of the property.

Lots of hidden treasures like rocks and sticks.

Dirty Boy!

P1080003

Definitely a boy, digging and throwing dirt.

P1080006

HI!

P1080007

Back on the boat.

P1080011

A stop at the marina to refuel the boat and Caleb!

P1080015

ok, and maybe Daddy too. Snack time for everyone.

P1080018

Yay! Allie made it!

P1080019

Tubing with the boys.

P1080020

When we would stop to change tubers, Caleb would “jump” in a time or two!

P1080022

Even though his face doesn’t exactly show it here, he LOVED it and would have kept jumping and swimming!

P1080024

Lots of smiles!

P1080025

He also enjoyed “jumping” (really more like being tossed off) the dock too!

P1080028

Jumping to Daddy. He didn’t even care if he went under either.

P1080029

Swimming.

P1080030

Bright sun!

P1080033

For some reason he also found it fun to climb up the ladder/be pulled up. He would laugh and clap when we got him up! Mommy was very grateful for all of the extra hands since the gut seems to be getting in the way a whole lot more these days!

P1080034

Taking advantage of Nana(she stayed back with sleeping Caleb), for a little sunset boat ride.

P1080035

John and Allie enjoying more of the boat ride then “the Nana services”(one day you too will enjoy that too, you’ll see!)

P1080037

Gdad

We were able to meet up with Gdad for breakfast on his last motorcycle ride. Caleb enjoyed seeing his Gdad, although he did miss his Gmom.

And of course, playing on the motorcycle was a hit!

Kisses for Gdad!

And a hug.

Pizza Night

Here is my pizza maker! Caleb had such a good time helping me with dinner the other night.  He was very helpful with tasting the sauce.  He started off just taking his cute little pointer, getting a little bit and giving it a little taste. It then turned into dough and topping tasting!(notice the one corner of the pizza)

Library

We went to the library’s story time for the first time this week. They did a whole lot more than I thought they would. They sang songs, read books and played toys. Caleb enjoyed himself the whole time but kept crawling away to explore the room.  But when the teacher would do something exciting he would stop and watch or come back to the circle. After, we headed to the children’s books and did a little more “reading”.

Although Caleb loves to sit and read books, one of his other favorite book activities is to pull and throw all the books off of the shelf. Oh and the book cases themselves make great tunnels(one of his new favorites!)

Mommy is glad they have a children’s section that is located in a whole separate place in the library because his reading volume is always set to MAX!

New nap schedule

We are finally down to a one nap day. He is doing pretty well with it but boy is he tired once we let him lay down! Because of my work/sleep schedule we aim for him to go down about 1:30pm. Which is probably a little later than we would if I wasn’t working.  The length of his nap still varies but usually it’s pretty decent.

Here are some pictures from our video monitor.

Our little Heisman in his heisman position with his Panther jersey on!

He tries to fight it and move around but then is out before he even knows it!

2011-06-02 14.50.08

Now Mommy just has to figure out what to do with all that time in the mornings. It does open up our day for more activities or appointments but boy sometimes Momma would love to have her morning nap back! zzzzzzzzzzzz.

Neurology Update

Dr.H called and stated that his MRI was “Unchanged” and “Stable”.  He still has the cyst in his temporal lobe and the heterotopias(from the migratory disorder). We are happy to be able to officially call his spot a cyst and not a tumor. Praise God!
